• Abierto el plazo de presentación de comunicaciones hasta el 26 de marzo de 2027.
• Para poder presentar comunicación académica de cara a ser leída en el Congreso, es necesario estar inscrito al mismo, lo cual puede hacerse a través de este enlace.
• Las comunicaciones deberán abordar alguno de los siguientes ejes temáticos y se adscribirán preferentemente a una de las mesas redondas, aunque el Comité Organizador podrá reasignarlas si lo considera oportuno:
  
  • Benedicto XVI y su idea de universidad
  • ¿Qué significa que una universidad sea católica?
  • Relación entre verdad y libertad
  • Fe y razón en la búsqueda de la verdad
  • El papel de la universidad católica en el espacio público
  • La vocación del profesor universitario
  • El sentido de la educación y la educación que busca sentido
• En el caso de comunicaciones conjuntas, sólo el autor de referencia deberá enviar la propuesta, aunque todos los co-autores deberán inscribirse individualmente en el congreso.
• Periodo de evaluación: del 26 de marzo a 30 de abril de 2027.
  

  El Comité Científico seleccionará las comunicaciones que serán presentadas de forma oral durante el congreso, atendiendo a los siguientes criterios:

  1) Pertinencia con la temática y objetivos del congreso.
  2) Relevancia académica del tema

  3) Originalidad.
  3) Rigor y profundidad.

  La aceptación o no de las propuestas será notificada por correo electrónico. La parte del coste de inscripción correspondiente a la evaluación de la comunicación presentada no es reembolsable en caso de que la comunicación no cumpla con los requisitos establecidos.

  Las comunicaciones seleccionadas dispondrán de un tiempo máximo de 10 minutos para su exposición oral.

  Las comunicaciones con mejor valoración serán publicadas en una revista o editorial de prestigio.

• Requisitos formales:

  - Extensión: entre 1.000 y 1.500 palabras.
  - Formato: archivo en formato PDF, fuente Times New Roman, tamaño 12 para el cuerpo del texto y 10 para las notas a pie de página.
  - El archivo deberá titularse con el nombre de la comunicación y no incluir el nombre del autor ni la institución de procedencia.
  - Idiomas admitidos: español e inglés.

• The deadline for paper submissions is 26 March 2027.
• In order to submit an academic paper for presentation at the Congress, registration for the Congress is required. Registration is available through this link.
• Papers must address one of the following thematic areas and should preferably be assigned to one of the round tables, although the Organizing Committee may reassign them if deemed appropriate:
  
  • Benedict XVI and His Idea of the University
  • What Does It Mean for a University to Be Catholic?
  • The Relationship Between Truth and Freedom
  • Faith and Reason in the Search for Truth
  • The Role of the Catholic University in the public sphere
  • The Vocation of the University Professor
  • The Meaning of Education and an Education in Search of Meaning
• In the case of joint papers, only the corresponding author should submit the proposal, although all co-authors must register individually for the Congress.
• Evaluation period: from 26 March to 30 April 2027.
  
  The Scientific Committee will select the papers to be presented orally during the Congress according to the following criteria:
  
  1) Relevance to the theme and objectives of the Congress.
  2) Academic relevance of the topic.
  3) Originality.
  4) Rigor and depth.
  
  Applicants will be notified by email whether or not their proposal has been accepted. The portion of the registration fee corresponding to the evaluation of the submitted paper is non-refundable if the paper does not meet the established requirements.
  
  Selected papers will be allotted a maximum of 10 minutes for oral presentation.
  
  The highest-rated papers will be published in a prestigious academic journal or by a reputable academic publisher.
  
  
• Formal requirements:
  • Length: between 1,000 and 1,500 words.
  • Format: PDF file, Times New Roman font, size 12 for the main text and size 10 for footnotes.
  • The file must be named after the title of the paper and must not include the author’s name or institutional affiliation.
  • Accepted languages: Spanish and English.
